A caveat about trading items:
I did a house trade for 8 millions today, and wondered why my trade partner couldn't place 8 checks in the trade window properly. I've seen scams, but in this case the reason was that he used the 3d client while I used the 2d client, and due to the different trade window sizes the item positions got messed up. So make sure you both use the same client when trading items.
